When you shop preloved on our marketplace, HOW you buy is up to you. You can tap BUY NOW and meet the seller’s price for an instant purchase, or simply put in a bid at a lower price and let the games begin. Will you be a winner?

Everything checked and cleaned
When you buy a preloved item on Markot it comes to us first. Why? Well, first we want to check you’re getting what you paid for. And secondly, we clean every item that moves through our marketplace, ensuring you get a sparkly and sanitised version fit for your home.

Delivered to your door
We then deliver that checked and cleaned item straight to your door. The days of hurrying out the door to pickup an item from someone else’s home are over. This is a new way to shop. A better marketplace.
Buy Now…
So you’ve found the perfect item…it has to be yours, right? Now, there are two ways you can buy an item – via a bidding process or immediately, which we appropriately call “buy now”.
‘Buy now’ is exactly what it sounds like. When you find a listed item, you’ll see the sellers ‘buy now’ price. If you’re happy to pay that amount – and bypass the whole bidding process – then simply click the ‘buy now’ option and the item is yours!

Bidding is a real rush! Bid against competing parties to see who will claim the prize. Whether you’re successful or not, we will keep you posted along the way. So make sure you’re notifications are turned on.

Whats happens after you make a purchase?
At Markot, we’re making it simple. It’s never been easier to buy the brands you love.
So here’s how the post-purchase process works:

Whether via a bidding process or “buy now” sale, we’ll let you know that you’ve been successful.

Markot will take payment from you, but we’ll hold onto it until we check the items you bought.

If the item doesn’t match its description, you will be refunded.

If the item gets our tick of approval, then we release your payment to the seller.
